I bought some sticky vinyl the other day, perhaps before I'd even thought about what I was going to do with it. But after visiting a chum in Paris, and seeing a rather nice typographic installation on his shower wall (courtesy of an ex-girlfriend), I had an idea.I started thinking of how the little tiles could form a canvas of sorts for a vinyl image. It's pretty simple to do, even easier if the shower is turned off, and provides the viewer with an entertaining image whilst scrubbing ones sprouts. My favourite was the idea of a word search. So began 'Wash Your Mouth Out', perhaps inspired by the deliciously profane work of Modern Toss, I put together a 11x11 square arrangement of the filthiest words I could think of.
